The weeds are arranged alphabetically by scientific name because common names vary. For example, in Arkansas, Eupatorium capillifolium, is variously called, Dogfennel, Cypress Weed, and Texas Cedar.
Broomsedge, Andropogon virginincus
Broomsedge is a warm-season, perennial bunch grass that begins growth on much the same timing as bermudagrass. Apply glyphosate at one quart per acre using a formulation that is at least 41% active ingredient.
